Hi, I'm Jørn. My name is almost Bjørn, which means "Bear." Then there's Linn-Kathrin... Kath... Katt... Cat. Together, we're Bear&Cat Music Production!

Here we are receiving flowers on opening night at Fyllingsdalen Theatre. It's a little theatre with a big heart, and we've been writing music for it for the past 13 years. That's us (the ones without costumes) with the cast of "Scrooge."

Around the same time we began working on theatre music, we also started collaborating with game developers Rain A/S. One of the coolest things about Rain A/S games is that, despite being different genres, they all tie into one long story. This means we can (and should) reuse musical motifs to weave together the "larger story," which makes it feel like we're crafting one grand opera. It's super satisfying!

"Teslagrad 2"  is their latest release. It follows Lumina's journey home to "Teslagrad" from her unexpected detour to "Wold to the West". 

The world she encounters is wild, filled with rogue vikings and electrifying monsters (and the old Grues). Musically, Teslagrad 1 had an "old, majestic, royal" vibe, so we reinvented the relevant melodies and motifs for Teslagrad 2's "uncivilized, wild" world.

In Teslagrad you also meet Huldr, one of my absolute favourites from these stories.

We had a blast making the music for Teslagrad 2, and it got some really good reviews for it. 

And I know we will be having an equally good time finsihing the music for Love in Space. It's very liberating for our creative-brains, to write for a projects like this.
